Scenario
An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; finding out if their relationship survives their wildly different lives and meddling families.. Originally titled "Shiksa", which is also the last word spoken in the first episode.. I was so excited for this one! Some of the dialogue and parts of the plot, especially in the first episode, missed the mark. A few minutes later I thought, is this going to be gross? Well, I stuck with it and ended up REALLY enjoying it. The love story was passionate and there was definitely chemistry between them. And that first kiss. WOOFTA. I think I got pregnant too. Plus lots of laugh out loud funny moments. 100% my sense of humor. Is it an Oscar winner? Probably not. Will people be offended? Absolutely. But it’s an enjoyable story that was an easy binge with likable characters. Can’t wait for season 2.
